Trilanco, a company that specializes in equine agricultural supply, was moving to new premises and was putting on a big event, with fairground rides, dodgems, a stage set….The company wanted a projection cake that would symbolize the company going from the old to the new. And it wanted something that could be used on social media.
We created a projection mapped cake that represented Trilanco’s business. It started with a fleet of Trilanco vans moving around the cake and then it featured galloping horses, dogs and tractors. It also marked the company’s transition to new premises.
It worked really well. The cake was displayed towards the end of the evening, at the end of the managing director’s speech, after all the awards had been made. What happened was that the MD cut into the cake and then the projection show started. That moment and the ensuing show has been incorporated into a video of the main event which has had over 3,000 views.
