Our immersive installation for IKEA at their Wembley store, took experiential shopping to a whole new level.

BRIEF

The world-famous furnishing chain wanted an immersive and engaging display to inspire people shopping at their Wembley store. The retailer wanted to focus on increasing engagement through design via head-turning and immersive artwork that runs through the entire installation.

CONCEPT

The visuals told the story of an IKEA character who jumps in and out of the display areas. It linked the artwork from room to room and gave helpful information to customers as they walked through each part of the installation.

We used several short-throw projectors to showcase the artwork on the walls and encourage customers to check the insides of the cupboards. We also installed several TVs as window displays throughout the installation, so people could look out across a moving cityscape of London.

Everything fitted together beautifully, with a natural flow between each installation section.

WOW MOMENT

This project let IKEA take their customers on a journey and showcase its products in a whole new way.

The visuals helped IKEA’s customers imagine what the products would be like in a real home, adding a degree of realism to their trip.
