We transformed the front of Dior’s flagship store into a festive wonderland for the Christmas build-up, using moving graphics to stop seasonal shoppers in their tracks.

The Christmas display is key to the most important time of the year for the retail industry, and competition is extra fierce amongst the stores of Mayfair, home to London’s most high-end and exclusive brands.

Standing out from the crowd here is everything; and turning heads means more than just good sales. Brand awareness and relevance are vital for a luxury label like Dior, and we needed to demonstrate chic styling and attention to detail had been carefully considered in every aspect, while practical challenges included council regulations and unpredictable winter weather.

Visuals were provided by Dior’s creative agency, and featured classic festive themes and the brand’s own reflections on its woodland fairy tale range. We then projection mapped them onto the architecture of the New Bond Street store, giving the building a seamless, perfectly wrapped Christmas present feel.

As the projection had to run throughout the festive period, beaming down Christmas magic from six storeys up on a neighbouring building, outdoor Enclosures were used to keep the winter weather from interrupting the three month-long project.

Our projection transformed the whole of the flagship store into the head-turning centrepiece of Dior’s Christmas campaign, while at the same time successfully negotiating the local council’s restrictions and the weather of an English winter.

The Dior brand’s values of elegance and craftsmanship were displayed in the high-quality visuals and, even surrounded by some of the world’s leading luxury brands, the boutique was most definitely the one that stood out to all those looking for that extra special Christmas gift.
