GENESIS CAR GAME – V&A MUSEUM
Film: the giant playable Genesis car game projected onto the V&A for the Korean pop culture exhibition.
An arcade game 111 feet high on the front of the V&A in London, run on power from the electric Genesis SUV parked in front of it. Genesis wanted to show that its car can power plug-in equipment, and its agency ScienceMagic.Inc brought us the brief.
We built the game from Genesis’ design and ran it from our computer, plugged into the car. Visitors sat in the driver’s seat and played with a controller while the game filled the building. A leaderboard picked the winners, who got free tickets to the V&A’s exhibition of Korean pop culture, and people kept coming back for another go. The project reached the national press.
