IKEA Wembley Workspaces Projection Mapping
Film: IKEA Wembley workspaces, an immersive projection installation inside the store that turned room sets into an experience.
IKEA wanted the workspace displays in its Wembley store to hold shoppers’ attention, so we built a permanent projection installation through them. Short throw projectors put artwork on the walls and on the cupboard fronts, nudging people to open the cupboards and look inside.
An IKEA character hops from room to room, linking the displays and explaining the products as people walk through. TVs placed as windows look out over a moving London skyline. IKEA told us it engaged their customers and had been a huge success. The IKEA Wembley case study explains how the rooms fit together.
