LANCOME PERFUME LAUNCH
Film: Lancome's Idole perfume launch at the QEII Centre, a 9 ft projection mapped bottle as the centrepiece.
Lancôme launched its Idôle fragrance to staff from around Europe at the QEII Centre in London, in the middle of a three-day company conference. We made a nine-foot replica of the bottle in polystyrene, wrapped the cap in vinyl and left the rest bare as a surface for projection.
For most of the day it sat behind the speakers and changed with the agenda, at one point turning the colour of a new lipstick. Delegates took it for a clever backdrop. Then came the reveal, with a launch film full of 3D effects that ended on the bottle’s own branding. Later we pointed a camera at the audience and projected them back onto the bottle live. More detail is in the Lancôme case study.
