Mapping the MOBO Awards
Film: mapping the MOBO Awards, the MOBO logo projection mapped for the VIP reception in London.
Passion4Events ran the VIP reception at the MOBO Awards, and its director Mark Jacobs wanted the awards logo to be more than a printed board. The logo is the backdrop as stars arrive and the spot where everyone stops for photographs.
We built it in polystyrene, 5 ft tall and 13 ft wide, and projection mapped it with flames and other animated effects. Mark and our team sourced the materials together, and we designed every visual that played across it. Guests queued for photos with it from the start of the reception to the end, and it was picked up by Channel 5 news. The MOBO Awards case study covers how we made it.
