MAYFLOWER 400 ILLUMINATIONS – AMERICAN ODYSSEY
Film: Mayflower 400 Illuminations for an American Odyssey, giant projections across Harwich for the Festival of Light.
Harwich held a Festival of Light to mark 400 years since the Mayflower reached America, and we were at the centre of it. Our job was large scale projection mapping on the buildings around the heart of the festival, among them the Pier Hotel and Captain Jones’ house.
Around the mapped buildings we added a light wall and Hologauze, which floats 3D holographic images in mid air, and digital fireworks for the crowds. Tendring Council worked with us on the night.
