Mo Lea Houses of Parliament (Guerrilla Projection)
Film: Mo Lea's guerrilla projection on the Houses of Parliament, by Motion Mapping.
Artist Mo Lea survived an attack by Peter Sutcliffe in 1980. Forty years after his conviction, we projected her animated Lady Justice onto the Houses of Parliament from across the Thames at Lambeth.
In the animation the female symbol drips into the river. The piece speaks for the women whose calls for help and for protection from the law go unheard. Our job was to put Mo’s own artwork on the building faithfully and at a scale that matched what she had to say, and to do it as a guerrilla projection from the far bank. See how a job like that runs on our guerrilla projection page.
