Film: the Queens Hotel Leeds Christmas projection show 2024 for LeedsBID, a festive film mapped onto the hotel facade.
For Christmas 2024 LeedsBID wanted to bring families into the city centre, and the Queens Hotel in City Square became the screen. We worked with Pro Audio Systems and the creative studio Onionlab on the show.
The film was written by local screenwriter Lisa Holdsworth and narrated by Richard Armitage, and it brought back the gingerbread man from the year before. The eight minute show played 107 times over 11 days above the Christmas market, with a countdown before each showing that kept people gathering. BBC News covered the launch.
