Rennie Ghost Food Projections and BTS
Film: Rennie's Halloween ghost food projections and behind the scenes from the 2am London shoot.
Rennie wanted floating fast food ghosts for its Halloween TV advert, made in camera without CGI. Projection on gauze was our answer.
On gauze, part of the light passes through and part reflects back, so the image hangs in the air and looks semi transparent, close to a ghost. We mapped the content and set up the gauze and kit for a 2am shoot on a London street, then worked alongside the film crew while actors reacted to the fried food drifting past.
