Thank You, Our Heroes (Projection to celebrate the NHS heroes)
Film: Thank You Heroes projections for NHS frontline staff at Ipswich Hospital, by Motion Mapping.
Heroes, we salute you. In 2020, just before lockdown, we put a giant thank you onto the side of Ipswich Hospital for every member of staff working on the frontline.
Plenty of the staff came out to take a selfie with it, and it lifted what was normally a hard day for them. We had many messages afterwards from people it had cheered up. This was our own idea and a guerrilla projection: portable kit, nothing fixed to the wall, and the building exactly as it was once the projector went off. That year we also projected rainbow butterflies on the same hospital. Our guerrilla page explains the approach.
